Clean and cut green beans in half.
Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil to a pot and heat.
Add green beans to the pot and cook until they change color, covering to steam.
Add 1 medium diced tomato, finely diced green pepper, white onion, and minced garlic to the pot.
Prepare sauce with 1 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, and 1 tablespoon of pepper paste, mixing until dissolved.
Add the sauce to the green beans and season with salt and black pepper.
Add additional water if needed and continue cooking until beans are tender.
For bulgur pilaf, add 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to a pot.
Sauté 1/2 medium onion until caramelized.
Add 2 medium diced tomatoes and 1/2 small green pepper to the onions.
Add 1 cup of bulgur and 2 cups of water, adjusting as necessary.
Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and red pepper to taste.
Simmer until bulgur absorbs all the liquid and is fully cooked.
