Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Cut the pastry into squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
In another bowl, combine sliced strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch.
Spoon the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer on each pastry.
Fold the corners of the pastry squares towards the center to create a pocket.
Brush the edges with egg wash for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm pastries.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
