Servings4
1 pre-made graham cracker crust
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin
2 cups heavy whipping cream
splash of vanilla
orange zest
1 orange for garnish
1

Boil water in a pot and measure out 1 cup of boiling water.

2

In a bowl, mix the orange gelatin with the boiling water until completely dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.

3

In a separate bowl, whip together the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

4

In another bowl, add 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and whip on high until soft peaks form.

5

Add 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar and a splash of vanilla to the whipped cream, continuing to mix until soft peaks are achieved.

6

Mix half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture along with the orange zest, stirring until combined.

7

Layer the cheesecake mixture into the graham cracker crust, starting with the cream cheese layer, followed by the remaining whipped cream mixture.

8

Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, noting that the mixture may overflow if using a store-bought crust.

9

Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for best results.
