Simple syrup is easy to make and cheaper.

Squeeze the limes to make fresh lime juice.

Peel and cut the mangoes.

In a pan, pour 125 ml of water and add the castor sugar to melt it.

Once the sugar is melted, remove from heat and add the lime juice and lime zest.

Mix the mango pieces with the lime water mixture gently.

Prepare a container with cling film or non-stick paper.

Pour the mango-lime mixture into the container and cover it.

Place the container in the freezer for 4 hours.

After 4 hours, take the mixture out and mix in the egg whites that were stored in the fridge.

Put the mixture back in the freezer until ready to eat.
