Put a little over 1 cup of yogurt in a bowl.

Add a little water to thin the yogurt out to a soup-like consistency.

Whisk the yogurt and water together until combined.

Grate 1 clove of garlic and add it to the yogurt mixture.

Add a couple of good pinches of salt to the mixture.

Take 1/2 of a large English cucumber, remove the seeds, and chop it before adding to the bowl.

Combine the cucumber with the yogurt mixture and check the consistency.

Add a handful of chopped mint to the mixture, adjusting the amount to taste.

Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably a couple of hours, to let the flavors meld.

Garnish the top with mint leaves before serving.
