Honey-Sriracha Turkey Meatballs - The Perfect Spicy Appetizer

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Add chopped onion, celery, and jalapeno peppers to the pan.

Cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.

Remove from heat and let cool.

In a bowl, combine cooled mixture with ground turkey, panko, beaten egg, Cajun seasoning, chili flakes, parsley, and salt.

Mix by hand until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Form the mixture into 16 meatballs, about 1 ounce each.

Heat oil in the pan and sear meatballs for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

Transfer browned meatballs to the oven to finish cooking through.

In a separate bowl, combine sriracha, honey, garlic powder, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper to make the sauce.

Cook the sauce for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.

Pour or brush the honey sriracha sauce over the cooked meatballs.
