Cream together 225 g of salted butter and 225 g of sugar until creamy.
Add 4 large lightly beaten eggs and mix well.
Gently fold in 225 g of self-raising flour and 75 g of ground almonds until combined.
Add the zest of 2 clementines (or 1 large orange or lemon) and mix gently.
Grease and line an 8-inch tin, then spoon the mixture into the tin and smooth the surface.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 45 to 50 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the tin.
Melt 200 g of milk chocolate and 200 g of dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave.
Add 300 ml of double cream to the melted chocolate to create a ganache and mix well.
Pour the ganache over the cake while still in the tin and allow it to set.
