Cut the ends off the onions.
Hollow out the onions by running a knife down through it and cutting out the core.
Remove the outer skin of the onion carefully, leaving the onion intact.
Seal the bottom of the hollowed onion with a piece of onion core.
In a pot, add 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
Add 1 pound of ground meat to the skillet and brown it.
Season the meat with Southern Boys seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Add half of the Holy Trinity (bell peppers and onions) to the skillet and mix well.
Once the water is boiling, stir in the Southern Boys jambalaya mix.
Combine the browned meat mixture with the jambalaya mix.
Stuff the mixture into the hollowed onions, packing it down.
Pour Classico sweet basil sauce on top of each stuffed onion.
Pour some sauce into the bottom of the baking pan.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Place the stuffed onions in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes.
After 35 minutes, add cheese on top of the stuffed onions.
Return the onions to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
