Glazed turkey wings are a beloved dish in American cuisine, often enjoyed during festive gatherings and family meals. This dish highlights the use of sweet and savory flavors, creating a deliciously sticky glaze that enhances the natural richness of the turkey. While traditionally served during holidays, glazed turkey wings have found their way into everyday cooking, celebrated for their ease and flavor.
Clean the turkey wings and thighs with lime juice.
Prepare the spice mixture including spice jamaica reggae blend, cumin, black pepper, and olive oil.
Drizzle fish and meat sauce on both sides of the turkey.
Apply the green blend (scallion, pimento, onion, scotch bonnet pepper) to the turkey, ensuring it's well coated.
Marinate the turkey overnight if possible for better flavor.
Preheat the oven to 380°F.
Place the seasoned turkey in the oven, covered with aluminum foil, and check periodically to prevent drying out.
After 30 minutes, prepare the glaze with burnt sugar, jerk seasoning, and mango chutney.
Remove the turkey from the oven and apply the glaze.
Return the turkey to the oven for 5 minutes before broiling to finish.
