Add water to couscous, just below 2 cups, and let it absorb for 10 minutes.

Transfer couscous to a pot, add olive oil and salt, and mix together.

Prepare the steamer by filling the bottom part with water, half full.

Once water is boiling, place couscous in the top part of the steamer and cover it.

Steam for 5 to 10 minutes until steam is coming out from the top.

Remove couscous and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Return couscous to the top part of the steamer and ensure there is enough water in the bottom part.

Steam for another 5 to 10 minutes until steam is visible again.

Melt butter and mix it into the couscous before serving.
