Slice a large sweet Vidalia onion and bell peppers into strips.
In a skillet, melt some butter over medium heat and sauté the onions and bell peppers until they are slightly browned.
Prepare a pot of water and bring it to a boil.
Add the frozen pre-made pierogies to the boiling water and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they float to the surface.
Drain the pierogies and set them aside.
In the same skillet, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and heat it until hot.
Add the drained pierogies to the skillet, ensuring they are not overlapping, and pan-fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Serve the pierogies hot with sautéed onions, bell peppers, and a side of sour cream.
