Cranberry Salad

fresh cranberries
3 stalks finely-diced celery
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
squeeze of fresh lemon juice
1 package strawberry or cranberry gelatin
1 cup water

Wash your hands, fruits, vegetables, and clean cooking surfaces.

Chop fresh cranberries using a knife or food processor until finely chopped.

Add 1 cup of water to a pot and bring it to a boil.

In a separate bowl, mix chopped cranberries with 1/2 cup of sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Add 3 stalks of finely chopped celery and 1 cup of chopped walnuts to the cranberry mixture.

Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavors.

Turn off the heat and add the gelatin to the boiling water, mixing until dissolved.

Combine the gelatin mixture with the cranberry, walnut, celery, and sugar mixture and mix well.

Level out the mixture and place it in the refrigerator until set.

Once set, serve the cranberry salad in a clear glass dish.
