4 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup buttermilk
Vegetable oil for frying

Cut the corn kernels off the cob and set aside.
