1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup half-n-half
1 1/2-2 cups powdered sugar (confectioners)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray two 9-inch cake pans with cooking spray, then line with unbleached parchment paper, then spray the parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda, whisk slightly. Set aside.

Beat the room temperature butter and sugar together on high speed until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes).
