Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
In a saucepan, combine butter, sweetened condensed milk, light brown sugar, and milk.
Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the butter melts and sugar dissolves.
Stir gently for about 15 minutes until it reaches the soft ball stage (240°F).
To check the consistency, drop some mixture into cold water; it should form a soft ball.
Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Add whisky and stir for 5-7 minutes until thick and glossy.
Pour the mixture into the lined tin and smooth the top.
Let it set at room temperature for 2-4 hours until fully set.
Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
