Add 1 cup of plain non-fat Greek yogurt. You can use plain yogurt, but it won't be as thick and creamy.

Add 1/3 cup of protein powder, which is about 1 and 1/2 scoops. You can skip this if you don't want to use protein powder since there's a lot of protein from the Greek yogurt already.

Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds.

Add 1/4 cup of the milk of your choice, coconut milk and water work really well with this recipe.

Add about 1/2 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric, and a pinch of black pepper.

Place the lid on your blender jar and then place your blender on your blender base.

Power it on and blend until it's smooth.

If you're having trouble blending, you might need to stir the ingredients around or add a bit of extra milk to help it blend.
