Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and red chili powder; cook for 1 minute.
Add sliced brinjal and green chili; stir well to coat the brinjal with spices.
Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brinjal is tender.
Add salt to taste and mix well.
Stir in curry leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon juice before serving.
