A French press is a cost-effective alternative for brewing.

Begin by boiling water to 90°C.

Place a paper filter in the Hario Switch coffee maker.

Add 20 g of coffee grounds to the filter.

Pour 60 g of hot water over the coffee grounds and let it bloom for 30 seconds.

After 30 seconds, pour another 60 g of hot water over the coffee grounds.

At 1 minute, close the switch on the Hario Switch.

Add 200 g of hot water and stir the coffee 10 times back and forth.

At 2 minutes, open the switch to let the coffee drain.

Total brew time should be just over 3 minutes.
