Cover the vessel with a clean tea towel and secure it with a rubber band.

Once dissolved, add 8 tea bags and stir gently, being careful not to break them.

Turn off the heat and let the tea cool to lukewarm temperature.

Remove the tea bags using a spoon and discard them into compost.

Once cooled, pour the tea into the vessel with the kombucha, ensuring not to spill.
