Add butter to the pot and let it cool down.
Mix egg and sugar together.

Add baking soda and water to the pot.
Incorporate orange peel to taste.
Gradually add 400 g of flour to the mixture until a stiff dough forms.
Flour the surface and rolling pin, then roll out the dough to desired thickness.
Cut shapes using cookie cutters.
Place cookies on a baking pan with minimal space between them.
Glaze the cookies to make them shiny and help decorations stick.
Decorate cookies with raisins, cranberries, currants, sprinkles, and almonds.
Bake cookies in the oven for 7 minutes.
