Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess
Add one can of sweetened condensed milk to a microwave-safe bowl.
Add 1.5 cups of white sugar to the bowl.
Add one packed cup of brown sugar to the bowl.
Optionally, add an additional 0.25 cup of white sugar if desired.
Add a pinch of salt to balance the taste.
Add 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the bowl.
Do not stir the mixture; place it in the microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
After microwaving, stir the mixture with a long-handled spoon for 45 seconds.
Return the bowl to the microwave for another 3 minutes and 30 seconds, stirring again for 45 seconds after the time is up.
Check for bubbles in the mixture to indicate readiness.
Add imitation vanilla extract to the mixture.
Stir until the mixture thickens; if it seems too thin, microwave for an additional 30 seconds before adding pecans.
Prepare a baking sheet by spraying parchment paper with Baker's Joy.
Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper and spread it out.
Let the candy cool for 20 minutes before cutting it into pieces.
