3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon red chilies (red pepper flakes)
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup plum tomatoes, chopped
4 cups water
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped

Boil water in a casserole-style pan and add salt.

Add chipolatas to the boiling water and cook for a few minutes to set the shape.
