Baked French Fries

4 large russet potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil

Thoroughly wash the potatoes.

Slice the potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Place the sliced potatoes in a large mixing bowl and cover them with cold water.

Let the fries soak for about 30 minutes.

Drain the water off the potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Mix together salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
