Bring 500ml milk and 3 tbsp sugar to a boil over medium heat.
Boil until reduced by half, about 15 minutes, then let cool completely.
In a saucepan, combine 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbsp water over medium flame to make caramel.
Once caramel reaches a golden color, transfer it to a bowl and set aside.
Add the cooled milk and sugar mixture to the bowl with caramel.
Blend in 1 small peeled banana, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Remove any foam from the mixture.
Prepare a water bath with boiling water and cook the mixture for 30-35 minutes over medium flame.
Let it cool completely, then refrigerate overnight or until fully set.
