Slice half of a large West Virginia candy onion into thin rings.

Sprinkle garlic powder over the sliced onions.

Add a little oregano on top of the onions.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese across the top of the onions.

Add a couple tablespoons of butter, cutting it into small pieces and distributing it over the onions.

Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese over the onions.

Add some shredded cheddar cheese, using any combination of cheeses desired.

Place the dish in a 350°F oven for about 35 to 45 minutes until the onions are tender and the cheese is browned on top.

Remove from the oven and serve as a side dish.
