Parmesan is more widely available and less expensive than pecorino.

Boil water in a pot for the spaghetti.

Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook for about 10-11 minutes.

Prepare black pepper by sautéing it in a pan with a little heat.

After the spaghetti is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest.

In the pan with sautéed black pepper, add a little reserved pasta water.

Add pecorino cheese to the pan and mix to create a creamy sauce.

Combine the drained spaghetti with the creamy sauce, mixing well to coat the pasta.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more reserved pasta water if needed.
