Add double the amount of water to the rice, which is 4 cups, and 1 teaspoon of salt, adjusting to taste.

Cover the pot and cook, checking every 1-2 minutes until the rice is almost done, then reduce heat to low and let it steam for 5 minutes.

For the Dawood Basha, take 1 kg of ground meat and add it to a bowl.

Add 1 large chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped coriander, and 3 chopped green chilies to the meat.

Mix in 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of red chili powder.

Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and mix everything well, then form small balls from the mixture.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs on medium flame until golden brown, turning them occasionally.

Remove the meatballs and in the same oil, add a finely chopped onion and fry for 2 minutes.

Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes, then add another chopped tomato if desired.

Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder, mixing well.

Pour in 2 cups of water and stir, then add the previously fried meatballs back into the pan.

Cover and cook on medium flame for 15 minutes, checking occasionally.

Garnish with chopped coriander before serving.
