Add 1 cup of sugar to the eggs and mix well.

Incorporate 1 cup of buttermilk into the mixture.

Add 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour and mix until combined.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.

Pour in 1/2 cup of melted butter that has cooled slightly and mix until well combined.

Prepare a 9-inch unbaked pie crust and pour the mixture into it.
