1 cup unsalted butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
to taste liquid coffee creamer
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
to taste black gel color
as needed water

Start by whipping your butter in your mixer.

Add all your powdered sugar using the paddle attachment.

Add in your liquids (heavy cream or liquid coffee creamer).

To make black buttercream, start with the American buttercream.

Slowly add cocoa powder, one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve a dark grayish color.
