I Tried TikTok Viral Jam & Buttered Toast Cookies! 🍪

Toast 3 slices of sourdough bread in a toaster.

Chop off some hard butter and melt it in the microwave.

Butter the toasted sourdough generously with the melted butter.

Spread raspberry jam over the buttered toast.

Blend the buttered jam toast until crumbly, pouring it onto a plate once done.

Brown 80 g of unsalted butter in a pan, stirring to avoid burning.

In a bowl, mix together plain flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder, and salt.

Add 165 g of granulated sugar and 60 g of dark brown sugar to the dry mixture.

Add 1 teaspoon of miso paste to the sugar mixture and cream together with the cubed butter.

Add the browned butter to the mixture and combine well.

Add 1 egg yolk and 1 egg to the mixture, then add vanilla extract.

Stir in the remaining flour gently until combined.

Fold in 200 g of white chocolate chunks and the blended toast crumbs.

Spoon some jam onto each cookie dough ball.

Roll the cookie dough into 90 g balls and coat them in the blended toast crumbs.

Place the cookie dough balls in the fridge for 1 hour to chill.

Preheat the oven and bake the cookies for around 10 minutes.
