1 tsp japanese cooking sake
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/3 red pepper
4 asparagus spears
10 sugar snaps
1 tbsp vegetable oil
a little salt & pepper
1 tbsp mirin
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
400g-450g cooked rice
2 tsp toasted black or white sesame for garnish

Thinly slice the pork.

Put the pork, sake, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl, mix well, then leave to stand for at least 15 minutes.

Thinly slice the red pepper.

Remove the base of the asparagus spears and slice diagonally.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, add and stir-fry all the vegetables with salt and pepper for 2-3 minutes, then remove to a warm plate.

Stir-fry the pork in the frying pan for 3-4 minutes or until cooked.
