Pour the cookie crumb mixture into a pie plate and press firmly into the bottom and sides.

Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes.

Combine 1/4 cup cocoa powder, salt, and 3 tablespoons cornstarch in a saucepan.

Pour in 2 cups of milk and whisk.

Add 1/4 cup maple syrup and bring to a simmer, whisking frequently.
