Bosnian Long Rolls

1 kg flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon white vinegar
4 dl water
100 g melted butter

Dissolve 25 g of fresh yeast in 1 dl of warm milk.

Combine 1 kg of flour with 2 teaspoons of salt.

Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to 4 dl of water and mix.

Add the dissolved yeast and 100 g of melted butter to the flour mixture.

Add the 4 dl of water and knead into the dough.

Let the dough rest for 50 minutes.

Knead the dough once more.

Let it rest for another 25 minutes.

Divide the dough into 15 round pieces and let them rest for about 10 minutes.

Roll out each piece into a long roll or braid them by tucking the left and right ends under the middle strand.

Let them rest for another 10 minutes.

Brush with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or salt (optional).

Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for 12 minutes.
