Creamy Pesto Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup pesto sauce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
