Using vegan butter, I have a pound of margarine, which is plant-based.

Add a quarter teaspoon of baking powder and a teaspoon of turmeric powder to the flour.

Cut the margarine into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Add a quarter teaspoon of salt and mix it in.

Add cold water to form a dough and shape it into a ball.

Place the dough in a Ziploc bag and refrigerate to set.

Prepare the filling by cutting onion, cabbage, green onion, carrot, and sweet pepper.

Cut tofu into cubes and add it to a bowl.

Season the tofu with a teaspoon of maggi all-purpose seasoning, a teaspoon of vegetable seasoning, a teaspoon of seasoned salt, a teaspoon of onion powder, and a teaspoon of thyme.

Mix the seasoning into the tofu gently.

Heat a pot on high and add two teaspoons of vegetable oil.

Add a quarter teaspoon of curry powder and turn the stove down to low.

Add the tofu, onion, carrot, and chili pepper to the pot, cover, and check after 10 minutes.

Add three-quarters cup of water and stir, then let it cook for 30 minutes.

After cooking, sprinkle a quarter teaspoon of cassava starch to thicken the filling and let it cool down.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut into circles using a bowl.

Fill each circle with the tofu filling, dip a finger in ice water to seal, and use a fork to crimp the edges.

Place the patties on parchment paper and preheat the oven to 360°F.

Bake the patties for 40 minutes until golden brown.
