Baked Ham

1 bone-in spiral-cut ham
20 ounces crushed pineapple
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Take the ham out of the fridge 1 to 2 hours before cooking to let it come to room temperature.

Unwrap the ham and place it face down in a baking dish.

For the glaze, combine 20 ounces of crushed pineapple, 3/4 cup of light brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves in a saucepan.

Stir the ingredients together and cook over medium-low heat for about 20 to 30 minutes until the liquid evaporates and the glaze thickens.

Spoon about half of the glaze onto the ham before baking.

Cover the baking dish with tinfoil and bake in the oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 to 1.5 hours.

After the initial baking time, remove the tinfoil and spoon the remaining glaze on top of the ham.

Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes to toast the glaze.
