Roasted Cauliflower

1 large head of cauliflower
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.

In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin. Toss until the florets are evenly coated.

Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.

If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower during the last 5 minutes of roasting.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
