Start by discussing the bread, using p28 protein bread for added protein, each slice containing 14 grams of protein.
Use a food scale and a Tupperware container to prepare the egg mixture.
Add 140 grams of egg beaters to the container.
Measure a capful of vanilla extract and add it to the egg mixture.
Add 30 grams of calorie-free maple syrup to the egg mixture.
Add 30 grams of almond cashew milk to the egg mixture.
Add cinnamon to taste and mix everything with a fork until the cinnamon dissolves.
Heat a pan over medium heat and spray it with baking spray.
Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
Place the coated bread in the heated pan and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes on one side.
Check for doneness; the bread should not be spongy or wet when flipped.
Flip the bread and cook the other side for another 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
If there's leftover egg batter, pour it over the cooking slices to maximize protein content.
Remove the cooked french toast from the pan and serve.
