Monterey jack is often less expensive and melts well.

Slice sister Schubert rolls in half.

Mix 2 sticks of butter, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 3 tablespoons of poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.

Spread the butter mixture on the bottom and top layer of the rolls.

Sprinkle chopped onions and swiss cheese on top.

Optionally substitute swiss cheese for pepper jack cheese.

Layer cooked ham on top of the cheese and onions.

Put the top half of the rolls back on.

Wrap the rolls in aluminum foil.

Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.

Check if the cheese is melted; if not, bake longer.
