Wash the green onions and cut off the ends.

Remove any excess blades from the green onions.

Blot the Black Forest ham with a paper towel to remove excess liquid.

Spread whipped cream cheese evenly on one slice of ham.

Take a green onion and place it at one end of the ham slice, then roll it up tightly.

Set the rolled ham with green onion aside.

Repeat the process for additional slices of ham and green onions.

Cut the rolled ham into bite-sized pieces and arrange them on a plate.

For the second version, take kosher dill pickle spears and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess liquid.

Press another paper towel on the pickles to remove more juice.

Spread cream cheese on a slice of ham as before.

Place a pickle spear on the ham and roll it up tightly.

Cut the rolled ham with pickle into bite-sized pieces.
