1.5 cups custard powder
2 cups milk
1 can of fruit salad
4 cups water
1 bottle of whipped cream
3 tablespoons sugar

Sift 2.5 cups of self-raising flour into a bowl.

Add 1 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt to the flour and mix together.

Add 250 grams of soft melted butter and 2 to 3 egg yolks to the mixture and gently mix until combined.

Transfer the mixture to a buttered oven tray and pat it down.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (380 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes until golden brown.

In a pot, combine 4 cups of water, the can of fruit salad, and 1 cup of sugar and bring to a boil.

In a bowl, mix 2 cups of milk with 1.5 cups of custard powder until fully dissolved.

Once the fruit salad mixture is boiling, add the milk and custard mixture to it and stir until the custard thickens.

Allow the custard filling to cool down after it has thickened.

Once the base is baked and cooled, pour the cooled custard filling over the base.
