WHITE CHOCOLATE & STRAWBERRY MUG CAKE RECIPE

Get a mug and put in 30 grams of butter.

Add 45 grams of white chocolate to the mug.

Pop this in the microwave for about 40 to 50 seconds on high.

Mix the butter and chocolate together until nicely combined.

Leave this mixture for a minute or two to cool slightly.

Add 1 egg to the mixture and mix it through.

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar (castor sugar or white sugar) and mix well.

Add 5 tablespoons of self-raising flour; if using plain flour, add half a teaspoon of baking powder to it.

Mix everything through until combined.

Pop the mug in the microwave for about 45 seconds.

Check the cake; it should be really wobbly still.

Get about 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam (or raspberry jam if preferred) and add it to the cake.

Pop the mug back in the microwave for 45 to 55 seconds.
