1/2 cup (100g) melted butter

500g flour

1 egg yolk

Combine 250ml lukewarm milk, 4 Tbsp sugar, and 1 Tbsp active dry yeast in a bowl.

Add 500g flour and 1 tsp salt, then mix.

Add 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 egg, and 1 egg white, then mix until combined.

Grease the bowl and cover the dough, leaving it in a warm place until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into 2 parts and cover, letting it rest for 15 minutes.

Spread 5-6 Tbsp butter on the dough, wrap it, and freeze for 40 minutes.

Cover the dough and let it rise for 30 minutes.

Prepare an egg wash with 1 egg yolk and 1 Tbsp of milk.

Bake in a preheated oven at 340F (170C) for 40 minutes.
