Welcome to Marie's kitchen, today we're making a rustic fruit tart.
You can use a store-bought crust if needed.
For the crust, use a food processor or other methods like hands or a stand mixer.
Add 1 cup of self-rising flour, which contains 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour and 1-2 tablespoons sugar to the dry ingredients.
Pulse the dry ingredients in the food processor.
Cut 1/2 cup (1 stick or 113g) of cold unsalted butter into about 8 pieces and add to the processor.
Pulse the butter with the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add 5 tablespoons of cold water and mix until combined.
Transfer the dough onto Glad Press'n Seal, form it into a round disc, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
While the dough chills, prepare the fruit filling.
Slice about 3 peaches thinly (peeling is optional) and add blackberries.
Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter.
Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spoon the fruit mixture onto the center of the dough, leaving a border.
Fold the edges of the dough over the fruit, pleating as necessary.
