Prepare buttermilk by mixing 1/4 cup milk with 1/2 teaspoon vinegar and set aside.

In a blender, combine 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, and 3 eggs at room temperature.

Add a few drops of vanilla essence and 3 drops of yellow food color to the blender.
