Texas Margaritas

Cultural Context

Originating from Mexico, Margaritas have become a staple in Tex-Mex cuisine, particularly in Texas where they are often served at gatherings and celebrations. This refreshing cocktail balances the tartness of lime with the sweetness of orange liqueur, making it a favorite for warm weather. Today, variations abound, with many adding fruit flavors or adjusting sweetness to suit individual tastes.
