Take a Pyrex bowl for the caramel.
Add 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water to the bowl.
Microwave for 6 minutes at 100% power to create caramel.
Check the caramel after 6 minutes; if not the desired color, microwave for an additional 3 minutes, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning.
Once the caramel reaches a dark amber color, swirl it to cool down and prevent further cooking.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a blender, add 1 package of cream cheese, 5 eggs, 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 can of evaporated milk.
Blend the mixture on high until well combined.
Pour the caramel into a separate pan.
Prepare a water bath (bano de Maria) by placing a pan with water and placing the custard mixture on top.
Cover the custard with aluminum foil.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.
Check the flan after 1 hour; if it wobbles too much, it is not done yet.
