Gather ingredients: 1/3 cup peanut butter, 3 tablespoons butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 6 cups Cocoa Krispies, and 1 cup M&M's.
Use a four quart or larger saucepan to combine peanut butter, butter, salt, and marshmallows over low to medium-low heat until melted, stirring frequently.
After about 4-5 minutes, once melted, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and stir well.
Gradually add 6 cups of Cocoa Krispies to the melted mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
Add 1 cup of M&M's to the mixture and stir gently to combine without melting the M&M's.
Prepare a 9x13 pan by buttering it, then transfer the mixture into the pan.
Press the mixture firmly into the pan using parchment paper to avoid sticking.
Allow the treats to cool completely for at least 30 minutes to an hour before cutting into squares or bars.
