1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.

Fold in the mini marshmallows and chopped peanuts if using.
