Heat some oil in a pan.
Add finely chopped garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add thinly sliced onions and cook low and slow until they turn beautifully caramelized.
Next, add your sliced mushrooms and let them cook down and caramelize.
Once they are soft, add a chicken cube and mix until it melts into the mixture.
Add a handful of fresh spinach and cook until they are soft.
Now sprinkle in some flour and stir it in to help thicken the sauce.
Pour in milk while stirring continuously, then add heavy cream.
Mix everything together and season with black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, chili flakes, and salt.
Mix everything and add shredded cheese.
Let everything simmer until it becomes a rich creamy filling.
Once it's thickened, set it aside.
Take the puff pastry and cut it diagonally.
Next, transfer the mixture into a baking dish and top it off with some extra shredded cheese.
Arrange the puff pastry pieces on top of your baking dish.
Once it's done, give it an egg wash.
Sprinkle some sesame seeds and bake it at 375°F until the pastry is golden puffed and perfectly crispy.
Once it's out of the oven, give it a little butter wash.
